Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in Scranton, PA. You will operate CT equipment, follow ALARA principles, ensure patient safety, and support radiologists with high-quality data.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT-CT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT certification, completed a radiologic technology specialty program, and has a Bachelor’s degree preferred. You will educate students and colleagues and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or NMTCB with ARRT-CT certification.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex CT procedures with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform prescribed CT scans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate commitment to organizational priorities.
