Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our radiology team in Florida. You will perform CT imaging with a focus on patient safety, diagnostic quality, and effective communication with radiologists and patients.

Responsibilities include pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic techniques, training junior staff, and troubleshooting scanners and related equipment while maintaining excellent customer service and charting in PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Registered CT Technologist (ARRT)
• NMTCB certification in CT acceptable in lieu of ARRT where allowable by state
• State license
• Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
• CPR certification
• Technologists performing mid-day moves
• Active State Driver’s License
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators
• Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS
