Job summary

Saint Luke's North Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to perform CT and general radiography exams in a busy hospital setting. The role requires working at least 3 shifts in 6 weeks with required weekends and holidays, and to follow strict infection control and documentation standards under physician or RN supervision.

You must hold an Associate Degree and ARRT CT and Radiography registrations, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable radiology experience.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross.
• ARRT CT and ARRT Radiography registrations required.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or allied field.
• Ability to follow aseptic technique and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiography exams.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records for radiology.
• QA/QC of imaging equipment per protocols.
• Protect exposed areas and use shielding.
• Provide basic bedside care under supervision.
• Assist in initiating care and stabilize patients with team.
• Document services in medical record thoroughly and timely.
• Demonstrate proficiency at inserting and maintaining IVs.
• Participate in QAPI activities and accreditation processes.
• May assist in other modalities as assigned.
