Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. The role includes assisting with interventional procedures and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include evaluating radiographs, preparing patients, administering contrast, and following infection control guidelines while supporting education for students and residents in a collaborative hospital

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures.
• Evaluates radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Preps patient and ensures appropriate preparation for scanning.
• Administers contrast following protocols and assists with CT guided interventional procedures.
• Provides patient education and addresses questions and concerns.
• Performs venipuncture and monitors patient condition during procedures.
• Maintains QA and infection control standards.
