Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin required.
• Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by ARRT required.
• Computed Tomography (CT) registration required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains medical history and ensures exam accuracy.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under Radiologist direction.
• Maintains records according to regulatory agencies.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of cross sectional anatomy

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently

Intermediate computer skills

Proficient in IV and venipuncture

Education

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
