Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and post-processing to support diagnosis and treatment. You will plan and execute scans based on clinical criteria and established protocols, ensuring patient safety and accurate dose data collection across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Ability to perform CT procedures and post-processing.
• Knowledge of dose data and CT protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Maintain protocols and knowledge of multiple CT systems across locations.
• Perform CTA imaging including carotid, head, vertebral and runoff protocols.
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure safety and shielding when applicable.
• Apply physics and pharmacology knowledge to optimize image quality and dose.
