Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Arbutus, MD is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT examinations as ordered by physicians. The role requires patient prep, positioning, contrast administration under radiologist direction, and maintaining equipment.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of CT experience or be ARRT CT registry eligible, graduate of an ARRT CT program, MD radiologic license and ARRT CT certification; expect a busy radiology workflow with strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience or registry eligible ARRT CT
• Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT CT program
• Specialized CT training required
• Maryland Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification

Responsibilities

• Greet patient, confirm exam, explain procedure and address anxiety
• Position patient on table and monitor during examination
• Introduce intravenous contrast as directed by radiologist
• Operate/adjust CT equipment to meet image requirements
• Maintain equipment, exam room, and supplies inventory
• Prepare patient information files and CT reports
• Submit reports showing number and type of examinations
• Perform other related duties as directed
