Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Medical Physics, Applied Mathematics or closely related field.
• Ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
• Effective communication skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to pursue tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new product technologies.
• Implement and optimize image quality and dose management features for new products.
• Evaluate designs and tune image quality, calibration and system safety considerations.
• Lead design reviews, assess technical risks and propose innovative solutions.
• Quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on system performance.
• Develop requirements for key performance parameters related to image quality and safety.
• Drive tradeoffs in new product development with system architecture knowledge.
• Address customer questions and provide technical answers and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for project execution and mentoring junior engineers.
• Share engineering principles and standards across the team.
• Drive innovation for competitive differentiation.
