Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic CT images and assist the radiology team at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Elkhorn, NE. The role requires AMA-approved training, ARRT certifications, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include imaging procedures, coordinating with surgeons and radiologists, and maintaining accurate documentation while supporting a high standard of patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and CT (CT) is required.
  • One year CT experience or graduate from an approved CT/MRI program preferred.
  • Current Medical Radiographer license for work state is required.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS strongly preferred, and to be completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CT imaging for diagnostic purposes with proper exposure factors and patient positioning.
  • Assist radiologists during procedures and ensure optimal visualization of anatomy.
  • Verify patient identity, order accuracy, and document medications and allergies.
  • Maintain RIS/PACS workflow, ensure exams start and complete timely, and support department efficiency.

  • Starts and completes exams performed.

  • Consistently uses Exam Management.

  • Document Medications and Allergies.

  • Consistently uses Powerscribe.

  • Assists in maintaining appropriate par levels of supplies and communicates to appropriate ordering personnel.

  • Patient identification accurately verified.

  • Properly identify anatomical orientation on all films. Clean and disinfect equipment at the conclusion of each case.

Education
