Job summary

Hmixray in Westminster, CO is hiring a CT/MRI Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging team. You will perform high-quality MRI and CT studies, ensure safety, and guide patients through procedures with clear explanations.

Candidate must hold ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or state licensure/ARRT CT as required), have BLS, and prefer at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. A sign-on bonus or student loan repayment is offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required or strongly preferred.
• State licensure and/or ARRT CT certification may be required by state regulations.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI and CT exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Adjust machine parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the imaging process with clear, compassionate communication.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI and CT exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure and/or ARRT (CT)
• Must have BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
