Job summary

Donut Station Inc. in Connecticut is hiring friendly, reliable team members to create positive customer experiences and craft a variety of espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and breakfast items.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with pooled tips adding about $3.00+ per hour. Flexible full- and part-time shifts are available, with opportunities for shift lead responsibilities on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to greet customers with a positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm with high order volume.
• Previous employment of at least one year preferred.

Responsibilities

Salary/Starting pay: $17.00 Pooled tips once you demonstrate solid knowledge of products and duties and the ability to work independently. Tips add approximately $3.00+ per hour.

Availability: F/T Opener- Tuesday-Friday, 5:30-12, Sunday 6-2; F/T Afternoons closer- Tuesday-Friday, 12pm-6pm, Sat 9-3 or Sun 8-2; P/T availability for both shifts. Shifts can be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Create positive customer experience
• Navigate customers through their food and beverage order
• Relay strong understanding of the healthy food options
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and frozen drink options
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare high quality breakfast items
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to approach new people with positive attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and helpful when the orders start rolling in
• Held prior employment for more than one year
• Proof of ability to learn quickly and demonstrate personal accountability
