Inpatient Psychology Solutions (IPS) seeks a self-starting Psychological Assessment Specialist/Psychometrist to join our team. The role emphasizes independent operation, high ethical standards, and delivering high-quality patient care.

We provide behavioral health services to hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing homes, with growth opportunities and flexibility in scheduling. Compensation is competitive and based on hours worked, with the position starting as a contracted role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in psychometric testing.
• Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) designation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting achievement/cognitive/neuropsychological testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests
• Maintain optimal test reliability through accurate and timely data availability while maintaining confidentiality
• Provide a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing, including interactions with parents/peers
• Management and completion of patient caseload in the greater Augusta area
• Record and input detailed patient notes into electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with IPS care team to ensure a comprehensive approach
• Assist in training and supervision of other clinical professionals
