Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CSIS field plus 2 years of equivalent training and/or experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field plus 4 years of equivalent training and/or experience.
• Associates degree in any field plus 4 years of equivalent training and/or experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher in any field plus 6 years of equivalent training and/or experience.
• Expertise in software development.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective instruction using college-approved curriculum; assess student learning with ongoing assessments.
• Manage classes and learning environments, ensuring inclusive accessibility (section 508).
• Promote continual improvement in teaching and learning cycles.
• Support learning through student engagement with active learning and problem-based activities.
• Provide student guidance to develop academic habits for college success.
• Pursue professional development to stay current in the field.
• Engage in department and college service activities; participate in college functions.
