Job summary

LCS Defense in Linthicum, MD seeks a CSfC Engineer to advance secure communications for DoD networks. You will support CSfC capability packages, assist with integration/testing in the MIC lab, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure mission-aligned, verifiable CSfC deployments.

This full-time role requires a background in secure communications, network engineering (enterprise WLAN), and a DoD-style lab environment. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Background in secure communications engineering.
• Strong experience in network engineering, including enterprise networks and WLAN.
• Familiarity with CSfC architectures, principles, and processes.
• Experience supporting technical documentation and system implementation/testing.
• Ability to work in a lab environment supporting integration and validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for updates to CSfC-related capability packages (Mobile Access, Campus WLAN, MSC, Enterprise Grey Annex).
• Support development, revision, and maintenance of CSfC documentation, including CPs and annexes.
• Participate in implementation, integration, and testing of CSfC solutions within the MIC lab.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure CSfC compliance, technical accuracy, and alignment with mission requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting, validation, and verification of secure communications solutions.
• Support planning and execution of future CSfC capability updates as required.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior experience working with CSfC Capability Packages and annex documentation.
• Experience supporting mobile or wireless classified communications solutions.
• Familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community network security standards.
• Active security clearance (if applicable).
