Job summary

McLendon Leadership is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to provide advanced intraoperative support across general, orthopedic, and neuro cases. The successful candidate will assist with suturing, retraction, hemostasis, and prepare sterile ORs while maintaining strict infection control.

You will monitor patient vitals, document procedures in Epic, and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure precision and efficiency in the operating room.

Qualifications

• CSFA certification preferred or eligible.
• Experience in operating room settings.
• Strong sterile technique and aseptic practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with suturing, retraction, and hemostasis.
• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and setup.
• Maintain sterile fields and infection control.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery.
• Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic.
