Job summary

GMRE is seeking a SACU C4ISR Technician to support USAF CSAR units across CONUS and OCONUS, leveraging extensive avionics, communications, and intelligence experience. Responsibilities span aircraft avionics support, mission systems compatibility, data-link integration, and training for aircrew and maintenance personnel.

The role emphasizes field diagnostics, software updates, system configurations, and secure handling of COMSEC material, with deployments and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft/communication networks and mission planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide Aircraft Avionics Support: modify and maintain aircraft/mission systems; perform field diagnostics and software loads; update T-1 systems and load new versions.
• Operations support: assist units with time-critical C4I solutions and data-link feeds; set up ROC/TOC for SADL and radio interfaces.
• Provide training for aircrew on SADL, HPW, SACU features, cryptographic loading procedures.
• Maintain and update mission systems data and configurations for local flying and contingency ops.
• Coordinate with Intel, aircrew, and ROC on mission requests, planning, and execution services.
