Job summary

State Street Corporation is hiring a Cryptographic Agility Surveillance Analyst to monitor cryptographic threats, assess risk, and support governance reporting across security and technology teams. You will work with encryption engineers and risk partners to ensure resilience of cryptographic controls and to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years in cybersecurity, risk, security operations, threat intelligence, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption, authentication, and data protection concepts.
• Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic asset management, software supply chain security, or cryptographic inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sources for emerging cryptographic threats, vulnerabilities, and standards changes.
• Track developments in encryption algorithms, cryptographic protocols, PQC, and key management.
• Summarize cryptographic intelligence and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying and assessing cryptographic risks impacting applications or infrastructure.
• Support the creation of risk dashboards, reports, and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand cryptographic implementations and remediation plans.
