Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Crypto Research Analyst to shape thought leadership in digital assets. You will perform in‑depth research, analyze market and on‑chain data, and develop high‑impact reports and visuals for clients and publication.

The role requires a quantitative Bachelor's degree, 1–3 years of experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a passion for crypto and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of research, financial analysis, or consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of crypto markets, blockchain fundamentals, and digital asset infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; graphic design/UI design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research across crypto and digital asset landscape (market structure, token economics, DeFi, infrastructure, stablecoins).
• Develop thought leadership reports, insights, and presentations for publication and client engagement.
• Analyze market/on‑chain data using Excel and crypto data platforms to uncover trends and support conclusions.
• Create visually engaging charts, infographics, and presentations communicating findings clearly.
• Collaborate with senior team to define research priorities and publication cadence.
• Support client engagements requiring crypto market dynamics expertise.
