Job summary

NSA is seeking analysts with a computer science background to solve complex problems and develop cryptanalytic capabilities that exploit cryptographic systems. You will apply your CS expertise to advance cryptanalytic techniques and threat understanding within a world-class team.

We value experience in C/C++, assembly, and low-level programming, plus proficiency in modern languages and DevOps practices. This is a full-time on-site role at NSA locations, requiring rigorous standards and DCIPS

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Related fields may be considered relevant if programs include at least 4 CS/Math topics (algorithms, structures, etc.).
• Relevant experience includes cryptanalysis, computer science, network operations, ethical hacking, math, data science, engineering, or programming.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems and research new cryptanalytic approaches.
• Develop cryptanalytic capabilities to exploit cryptographic systems.
• Support national security interests as part of a world-class CS/cryptanalytic team.
