Job summary

EOG Resources seeks a Plant Operator for the Agave Plant site near Encinal, Texas. The role operates and maintains a 300 MMSCFD cryogenic natural gas processing plant, handling separation, stabilization, dehydration, compression, and measurement, with housing provided during shifts.

The ideal candidate brings broad cryogenic plant operation knowledge and proven leadership, interfacing with technicians, engineers, control room, and safety teams on day and night rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cryogenic plant operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to personnel safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in operations and maintenance of a cryogenic plant.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• PSM program experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the plant in accordance with operating procedures.
• Review and provide input on plant operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and processes.
• Optimize operations for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Adhere to MOC documentation.
• Manage parts, inventory, and costs.
• Maintain daily readings and verify P&IDs.
• Participate in periodic PHAs.
