Mini Melts of America is seeking an Ice Cream Maker for a night shift in Norwich, CT. You will operate cryogenic ice cream machinery and mixing vats to produce products for the 48 contiguous United States, while complying with food safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, working in a cold, wet environment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The schedule is 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM with potential overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to work 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM shift.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and safety standards may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cryogenic ice cream machinery and mixing vats.
• Follow food safety and quality standards.
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
• Record batch information and lot numbers for product tracing.
• Assist other departments when needed.
