Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain crushing, screening, conveying, and related plant equipment in accordance with established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and equipment isolation practices.
• Monitor plant operation, material flow, and equipment condition to identify issues and take corrective action for safe, efficient production.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, adjustments, servicing, welding, fabrication, and component replacement on crushers, screens, conveyors, bearings, motors, drives, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems and complete repairs to minimize downtime and restore safe operation.
• Inspect guards, walkways, platforms, emergency stops, and other safety-critical components and promptly report unsafe conditions.
• Start, stop, adjust, and monitor plant equipment to maintain consistent material processing with minimal downtime and wear.
• Identify deficiencies and opportunities to improve plant reliability and assist with modifications and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate status and maintenance needs with supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment to ensure safe access and reliable operation.
• Support scheduled shutdowns and major repairs based on production needs.
