Daifuku Co., Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Coordination Manager to connect people, projects, and engineering teams across regions and global partners. You will promote consistent communication, resource alignment, and project visibility while driving technical collaboration.
This role requires leadership across disciplines, strong facilitation and planning, and bilingual Japanese/English abilities to align priorities and deliverables with North American operations and Asia-Pacific partners.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Engineering Coordination Manager is responsible for connecting people, projects, and engineering organizations to ensure effective execution of engineering activities across the business. This role serves as a key liaison between regional engineering teams, global stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional departments to promote consistent communication, resource alignment, project visibility, and technical collaboration.The Engineering Coordination Manager facilitates coordination among engineering disciplines and business functions to support timely project execution, standardization of engineering practices, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in bridging organizational, cultural, and geographic boundaries, particularly between North American operations and global engineering partners, to ensure alignment of priorities, objectives, and engineering deliverables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Support executive leadership by providing visibility into engineering workload, priorities, organizational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
Participate in customer meetings, internal reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions as required.
