Job summary

andyfrain is hiring School Crossing Guards for the 2026/2027 school year. You will help students cross intersections safely, stay vigilant for unsafe drivers, and communicate clearly with children, parents, and school staff.

The role requires a calm, independent presence and reliability outdoors throughout the school calendar. Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable outdoors in all weather, and able to complete required training.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with children and the public.
• Completion of required training.

Responsibilities

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 18 years or older
• Able to work independently and stay calm in emergencies
• Comfortable interacting with children and the public
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather
• Effective English communication
• Basic knowledge of local streets
• Completion of required training
