Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Crossdock Associate in Lakeland, FL for a full-time Evening shift (6pm–2:30am, Tue–Sat). The role involves packaging, sorting, staging, loading, unloading, and transporting products with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

You will work with a team to meet daily distribution goals while following policies and procedures. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the distribution center.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.
• Safely operates machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, processing staging and transporting products.
• Works cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other Associates in order to complete tasks.
• Arranges cartons on pallets and racks keeping in mind size, weight, height, etc.
• Loads trucks keeping in mind cubic weight, size and characteristics in mind.
• Works productively with little supervision and provides outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work.
• Maintains condition of Distribution Center or warehouse work area.

Overtime is required if needed.** Warehouse Associates are responsible for packaging, sorting, processing, staging, loading, unloading and transporting of products. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is of great importance to this position. This position is hands on and involves repetitive lifting, stacking, sorting, bending, stooping, reaching. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: * Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.* Safely operates machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, processing staging and transporting products.* Works cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other Associates in order to complete tasks.* Arranges cartons on pallets and racks keeping in mind size, weight, height, etc.* Loads trucks keeping in mind cubic weight, size and characteristics in mind.* Works productively (i.e., receiving products, picking products, etc.) with little supervision.* Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers (i.e., stores, etc.) by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner. Maintains condition of Distribution Center and/or warehouse work area (I.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).* Additional duties as assigned by Distribution Center or Warehouse Management.Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
