Job summary

Jefferson Radiology in Connecticut is seeking a patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our growing team. You will produce and evaluate screening and diagnostic x-ray and mammography images, serve as a super user on JR X-Ray equipment, and demonstrate competency in mammography examinations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Radiologic License is required.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• CPR (BLS) Certification is required.
• ARRT Mammography certification is preferred; if not yet, must obtain within 12 months from hire or 6 months from board eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in science-related field with Bone Densitometry training preferred.
• Experience with radiology information systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and evaluate screening and diagnostic general x-ray and mammography images.
• Serve as a super user on JR X-Ray and Mammography equipment.
• Demonstrate competency in mammography examinations and patient care.
• Maintain patient care and communication excellence.
