Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist I to support production operations in a fast-paced distribution center. The role emphasizes cross-training across multiple functions, training others, and handling distribution documents with accuracy.

You may operate warehouse machines and assist with data reporting to improve efficiency. Ideal candidates have strong computer skills, the ability to learn new equipment, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Expanded computer skills beyond A-system and basic Office products.
• Able to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
• Strong training, communication and leadership skills.
• Good reading, writing, math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Cross trained and working at or above standard in at least 3 different job functions.
• Trains others on a variety of warehouse functions.
• Processes, generates and interprets various documents which require span of operational knowledge beyond basic functions within the Distribution Center.
• Perform back up responsibilities for department Team Lead and/or Supervisor.
• Assist with generating and summarizing warehouse related data including running reports and making decisions and recommendations based on the data.
