Job summary

HD Supply in Lombard, IL, is seeking a warehouse associate to work across multiple departments in a distribution center. The role includes case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.

You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility. Responsibilities include locating and delivering products, staging orders for trucks, verifying incoming stock, packing and palletizing, inspecting stock for defects, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Uses packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets.
