Job summary

Itron is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support and optimize end-to-end operations across a cross-functional environment. You’ll act as a key connector across teams—helping drive visibility, improve processes, and ensure alignment between planning, supply chain, delivery, and operational execution.

You’ll turn data into insights, support decision-making, and help remove barriers that impact customer delivery and business performance. The anticipated start date is January 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in business operations, supply chain, planning, or a related role in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting, ERP/MRP or similar systems, dashboard and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize end-to-end business operations across a cross-functional environment to align planning, supply chain, delivery, and execution.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations, improve visibility into priorities, and reinforce accountability across the organization.
• Own operating rhythms, including KPI reviews, performance reporting, and action tracking.
• Analyze operational data across demand, supply, order execution, inventory, and service-level metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive coordinated execution.
