Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Romeoville, IL is seeking a full-time Warehouse Forklift Operator to safely load/unload, pick and stage pallets, and operate reach forklifts and cherry pickers in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will follow safety procedures, maintain accurate paperwork, and communicate with dispatch and drivers to resolve discrepancies. Competitive pay range $20–$25 per hour plus benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ year forklift driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate with dispatch, drivers and internal teams.
• Basic math skills and ability to learn warehouse/business systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using proper procedures and equipment.
• Accurately pick, stage and build pallets of product from warehouse inventory.
• Operate stand-up reach forklifts, cherry pickers and sit-down forklifts to move and organize freight.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using proper procedures and equipment
• Accurately pick, stage and build pallets of product from warehouse inventory
• Operate stand-up reach forklifts, cherry pickers and sit-down forklifts to move, stack and organize freight
• Follow all safety procedures at all times and perform other warehouse tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ year Fork Lift driving experience (Reach, Sit-Down, Walkie/EPJ and Cherry Picker)
• Strong attention to detail with ability to complete paperwork and follow written procedures accurately
• Good communication and problem-solving skills to resolve shipment discrepancies with dispatch, drivers and internal teams
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse and business systems
• Warehouse experience preferred; candidates with transferable experience from other fast-paced, physical work environments are encouraged to apply

Requirements:

• This is full time, shift based work – must be able to work on time and as scheduled
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to solve practical problems in a dynamic environment
