La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Lead to manage a team on the Z-Dock to ensure efficient picking, loading and shipping of merchandise. You will train staff, monitor productivity and maintain records for accountability while supporting security procedures and access control.
The role may require rotating duties across warehouse areas and occasional travel within the RDC. A High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification are required, RMS experience preferred.

This role is responsible for leading, motivating, training and supporting a team of Warehouse Associates in a specific or overall area of the warehouse. This person will ensure that the Z-Dock and the Warehouse Associates perform in an efficient manner and that all necessary precautions are taken to protect warehouse contents against loss.
If this role requires travel / driving in order to perform the key responsibilities outlined above, candidates must be able to meet the qualifications noted in the company's Driver Management Program to be considered for the role.
Z-Dock may have zero to as many as ten people in this role depending on size and complexity. Sub-areas include the Delivery process, receiving, Inventory/returns/repairs. Buildings may have a stronger delineation depending on the number of people in this role but in almost every case there will be inter-play between assigned areas, especially to support rotating days off or weekends. Each of these people/departments will be assessed by the overall efficiency and minimal negative effects on customer accommodation and inventory.
High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent Forklift Operator Certification
Experience of performing at a Leadership level (no matter how small) is preferred and a distinct advantage. The interest and ability to learn and utilize the depth of RMS is mandatory. Furniture repair and delivery
