Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Landscape-Scale Restoration Manager to lead a major forest restoration effort in Washington. This role coordinates with Tribes, federal and state agencies, and communities to refine landscapes, advance NEPA-ready restoration, and design implementable treatment packages including thinning and prescribed fire.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in conservation, forestry, natural resources, or related field.
• Experience managing complex projects with timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Experience with federal land management systems and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Leads landscape-scale restoration initiatives across priority geographies.
• Resolve bottlenecks and align contracts, workflows, and partner deliverables.
• Advance federal restoration projects via stewardship contracts and agreements.
• Build strong relationships with Tribes, agencies, contractors, and communities.
• Coordinate NEPA-ready opportunities with on-the-ground delivery and stewardship.
• Manage scopes of work, budgets, and partner commitments.
• Apply ecological and community context to inform sequencing and workforce needs.
• Represent the Conservancy in collaborations and communicate progress.
