Amazon Exports and Expansion is building new services that redefine cross-border shopping for Amazon. We enable customers from over 200 destinations to purchase with local language, payments, and currencies, while shipping and duties are streamlined.

Design and develop state-of-the-art software systems to address complex problems and architectures for distributed, scalable services. Join a team that values auditing, metrics, and global impact at day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and develop state of the art software systems that address complex and ambiguous problems to improve the cross-border experience.
• Facilitate the design of the architecture of these distributed and highly scalable systems.
• Solve complex problems by leveraging the latest technologies available in combination with data
• Own the inputs and the business outcome through cultivating a culture of relentless auditing and metric monitoring, automatically where possible.
