Job summary

Heritage-Valley-Health-System is seeking a CRNP for Behavioral Health - Pediatrics to support physicians at HV Pediatric Offices in Chippewa, Hopewell, and Monaca. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, and care planning for pediatric and adolescent patients.

The candidate must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, PA licensure, national certification, and DEA eligibility. Strong experience in psychopharmacology and trauma-informed care is preferred.

CRNP FT (Behavioral Health - Pediatrics)

Office Location: HV Pediatric Offices ~ Chippewa, Hopewell, Monaca
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 - 4:30pm; one Saturday a month 8:00 - 12:00p; potential for two (2) 10:00 - 7:00pm shifts per month based on office need / staffing.

Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing pediatric/adolescent behavioral health patient care.

REQUIRED

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program; Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, PNP, or PMHNP) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; National certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent); DEA license with appropriate prescriptive authority (or eligibility); Current BLS/CPR certification; Experience with psychopharmacology, developmental disorders, and trauma-informed care strongly desired; Familiarity with integrated care or community mental health settings is a plus; Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

PREFERRED

One year of primary care patient care experience. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or pediatric/family practice. PALS certification is encouraged.
