Job summary

PMC Medical Staffing is seeking highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our Dallas-area network. We partner with hospitals, outpatient centers, and GI suites across Dallas and surrounding Metroplex to provide flexible assignments.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas RN license or eNLC license; Texas APRN authorization.
  • NBCRNA certification; DEA and Texas DPS registration as applicable.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • 1–2 years CRNA clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and reviews of medical histories and labs.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans per facility protocols.
  • Administer general, regional, spinal, and MAC/TIVA anesthesia.
  • Monitor patients intraoperatively; adjust anesthesia as needed.
  • Manage intraop and postanesthesia complications and PACU recovery.
  • Document in EMR accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and techs.

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Locum Tenens / Contract, or PRN (1099 or W-2 Options Available)

Shift Options: Flexible shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours); Day shifts, Night/Call options, or No-Call ambulatory schedules

Position Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our staffing network. We partner with top-tier hospital networks, outpatient surgery centers, specialty clinics, and GI suites across Dallas and the surrounding metro area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, lab results, and physical conditions.

  • Formulate and execute tailored anesthesia care plans in accordance with facility protocols and clinical standards.

  • Administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, local, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC/TIVA) across diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures.

  • Monitor patient vital signs, physiological responses, and airway stability continuously during procedures, making immediate adjustments as needed.

  • Manage intraoperative and post-anesthesia complications, including emergency airway interventions and resuscitation.

  • Oversee post-anesthesia recovery (PACU), managing pain protocol and patient emergence.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the facility’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

  • Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, operating room nurses, and surgical techs.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree (DNAP / DNP) from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program.

  • Licensure:

    • Active, unencumbered Texas RN License or valid eNLC Compact RN License.

    • Active Texas APRN Authorization to practice as a CRNA issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.

  • National Certification: Current active NBCRNA certification or recertification.

  • Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical CRNA experience preferred (new graduates may be considered for select clinical settings).

  • Prescriptive Authority: Active DEA and Texas DPS registration (or eligibility) where required by facility privileges.
