Job summary
True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our trauma center team in Rutland, VT. You will practice within a supervision model with an Anesthesiologist always present, ensuring strong physician support and collaborative care.
The position offers a competitive salary with signing bonus, loan assistance, relocation support, and CME/licensing allowances. Vermont licensure and CRNA certification are required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Current CRNA certification.
- Eligible for or holding Vermont RN and APRN licensure.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to function within a team-based anesthesia care model.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care under physician supervision.
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia colleagues, and nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
