Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, care planning, airway management, and post-anesthesia handoff, with EPIC EMR usage and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program and appropriate licensure.
• Current CRNA certification and valid Florida RN license.
• Active BLS/ACLS certifications and strong airway management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for procedures.
• Pre-anesthesia assessments and history evaluation.
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Monitor vital signs across all anesthesia phases.
• Manage airway interventions including intubation/extubation.
• Respond to complications and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Document anesthesia care and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards.
• Provide post-anesthesia monitoring and handoff to recovery staff.
