Qualifications

• Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the AANA.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively with history, exam and anesthesia plan.
• Attend continuing education and participate in departmental activities.
• Contribute to performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Maintain anesthesia records and related documentation.
• Provide anesthesia per standards, monitor and transport patient after case.
