Job summary

CRNA opportunity in Chicago with Rubschlager Ambulatory, centrally located in the medical district of Chicago. The Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building opened in February 2023 and is a 10-story outpatient care center housing endoscopy, gastroenterology, and the Lung Center. Care is provided by a medically directed, cohesive team.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $225. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm and 7am-5pm, with no on-call, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient physiologic status and intervene as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

The location opened in February of 2023 and is a 10-story outpatient care center will also house other departments and clinical services, including endoscopy and gastroenterology services, and the Lung Center. Care team model, medically directed. Cohesive group.

Total Rewards Hourly Rate: $225 per hour

Case Assignments

• Schedule: Mon-Fri - 7am-3pm and 7am-5pm. No call, no weekends and no holidays!
• EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
