Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, OH, seeks an experienced CRNA educator and academic leader to serve as Program Director for its DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. You will shape the next generation of CRNAs, oversee curriculum, and cultivate strong clinical partnerships within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) or related field.
• Current CRNA certification.
• Unencumbered RN and APRN licenses or Ohio eligibility.
• Minimum five years of CRNA clinical practice.
• Minimum three years of academic nurse anesthesia education.
• Knowledge of COA accreditation standards and processes.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, planning, and quality improvement of the DNP-CRNA program.
• Ensure COA accreditation compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with academic and clinical partners to ensure high‑quality clinical education experiences.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies, procedures, and outcomes.
• Prepare accreditation reports, self-studies, and documentation.
• Oversee curriculum development, evaluation, and revision for DNP/CRNA competencies.
• Teach in the DNP-CRNA program (didactic and clinical as appropriate).
• Mentor faculty in teaching effectiveness and scholarly development.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate program faculty and clinical instructors.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Foster inclusivity and student-centered learning.
• Maintain an active program of scholarship and professional engagement.
