Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA is actively recruiting a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The role offers exposure to General, Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Plastics, ENT, and Endoscopy cases within a Level II trauma center setting.
Required education includes a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a higher degree in anesthesia; ACLS/BLS certifications and CRNA certification are necessary.
We are expanding our Anesthesia Care Team - Join our team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Excellent case mix including General, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Plastics, ENT, and Endo. Phoebe is a Level II Trauma Center headquartered in Albany, Georgia halfway between Atlanta and Florida's Gulf Coast beaches.
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital: 19 O.R.s (1 hybrid), 2 dedicated O.B. O.R.s, 4 Endoscopy procedure rooms
Administer intravenous, inhalation, and other anesthetic agents during surgical, obstetrical, and medical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations.
Develop and implement anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Prepare, test, and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for assigned procedures.
Monitor patients' physiological status before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Provide anesthesia services in all areas of the Anesthesia Department as needed.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Adhere to hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support departmental quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Provide direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Higher Degree in Anesthesia (Required)
