Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for the Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center in East Stroudsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pre-anesthesia assessments, managing anesthesia during procedures, and monitoring patients. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $230,000 to $245,000, along with a sign-on bonus of $50,000 and extensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments.
• Obtain and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options with the patient.
• Induce and manage anesthesia.
• Monitor patient's physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Position

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC) in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Location & Facility

Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in 1986 as an ophthalmic surgery center and became multi-specialty in 1990. It has received SPH Analytics awards for patient satisfaction in 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2018-2019.

Schedule

• 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday
• No nights, call, or weekends

Team Leadership

• David McIntyre, Chief CRNA

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Compensation
