Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a general CRNA assignment in Kirksville, MO. This locum tenens role covers inpatient cases with medical direction, including orthopedics, spine, neuro, pediatric and thoracic cases.

Schedule is 6:30a–3:00p with a 30-minute call response. The CRNA provides anesthesia services, assists with airway management, ventilation, and line placements, and collaborates with the care team to ensure patient safety throughout

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in CRNA required.
• MO licensure required for practice.
• ACLS certification required; BNDD/DEA/CSR certifications noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under medical direction for OR and OB cases.
• Serve as backup call for physicians for OR/OB cases.
• Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues during procedures.
• Perform central/arterial line placements and PA catheter placement when needed.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required: General, Spinal, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Surgery, OB, Neurosurgical Cases, Thoracic cases (except open heart), Complex orthopedic cases, Pain management techniques, Post-op epidural & extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar & Cervical Transforaminal, Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks, Ventilation management, Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, C-Line, A-Line, PA Catheter placement
