Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Temple, TX. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 5; 10-hour night shift schedule, offering $210–$220 per hour.

Expect collaboration with an acute care hospital and ongoing credentialing support from Aya Locums. The role requires an MSN or DNP from an accredited CRNA program, Texas APRN licensure, NBCRNA certification, and at least one year of anesthesia experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• Active Texas APRN license.
• National certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA).
• Typically 1+ year of clinical anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management and postoperative pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Stay current on advancements in anesthesia through continuing education.
