Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a Full Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for 12-hour night shifts at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. The role encompasses anesthesia administration in surgery, labor delivery, and other hospital areas, with on-call responsibilities and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Under supervision of an anesthesiologist, the CRNA administers anesthetics and assists in airway management and resuscitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required; BSN preferred.
• Graduate of anesthesia school complying with AANA and CA BRN standards.
• Two years of full-time anesthetic administration experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services as part of the anesthesiology team.
• Assist in post-anesthesia care and monitor patients.
• Support in codes and resuscitation as needed.
• Maintain and restock anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Evaluate new anesthesia techniques for service improvement.
