Job summary

Medicus has partnered with a western Indiana hospital to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage for a CRNA. The assignment is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with beeper call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

New grads accepted and support staff include MDs onsite. Caseload includes orthopedic, endo, general, ophthalmology, vascular, pediatrics, urology, cardiac, acute pain management, and trauma. Blocks are required, Cerner is the EMR, ACLS and BLS are necessary, and travel plus lodging are

Qualifications

• Board-certified CRNA required.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• New grads accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing locum tenens coverage as CRNA at a hospital in western Indiana.
• Work within schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; beeper call 3:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Collaborate with MDs onsite and manage diverse case types as listed.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
• Beeper Call Requirement: 3p-7a
• 9 MOR rooms, 2 endo rooms, 1 CV room, 1 cath lab, 1 IR room
• Case Types: Orthopedics, endo, general, ophthalmology, vascular, pediatrics, urology, cardiac, acute pain management, and trauma
• Blocks required
• Support Staff: MDs onsite
• EMR: Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• New grads accepted
• ACLS and BLS required
