Job summary

MyMichigan Health in Midland, MI seeks a Nurse Anesthetist to partner with physicians to develop and implement anesthesia care plans across surgical and diagnostic procedures. You will provide IV sedation, monitored anesthesia care, and general/ regional anesthesia, monitor patients, perform CPR, and support the department under the Manager of Anesthesiology.

End-to-end patient care includes pre-anesthetic evaluation, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia recovery.

Qualifications

• Strong written, organizational and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with physicians and teams.
• Ability to perform basic and advanced anesthesia skills including venipuncture, arterial lines, airway management and regional anesthetics.
• Adherence to all Medical Center policies and safe anesthesia practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation.
• Prepare the OR suite for all types of anesthesia.
• Administer, manage and monitor anesthesia care during induction, maintenance and emergence.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluation.
