Job summary

Nebraska Medicine seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services for surgical patients and to participate in the training of student nurse anesthetists. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) with nursing experience.
• Ability to identify potential situations of abuse.
• Computer competency to work with patient information systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of age-specific needs from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• CRNA license in Nebraska upon hire date; RN license in Nebraska or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services vital to patient safety and comfort for surgical patients.
• Participate in training of student nurse anesthetists rotating through the department.
• Follow operating room, department, and hospital rules and regulations.
• Fully participate in all CRNA call assignments.
