Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to administer anesthesia for diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures. You will perform pre-anesthetic assessments and implement an anesthetic plan.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of anesthesia approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Must have 2 years of clinical experience working in a physician office.
  • Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists; valid nursing license or compact state license and ability to become licensed within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
  • Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
  • Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.
