Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia services in a hospital setting in Rochester, MN. This part-time position supports day shift coverage with a 0.5–1.0 FTE range and a $30,000 starting bonus for eligible applicants.

The role requires NBCRNA certification, Minnesota RN and Advanced Practice licenses, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP preferred for some cases. Comprehensive benefits accompany a competitive on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia.
• Certified by NBCRNA (National Board Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists).
• Current Minnesota State Nursing License.
• Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP).

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures.
• Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary.
• Records the patient's vital signs and watches for significant changes.
• Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR.
• Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
